Volunteering is an important part of Mini-Indy and QMA.
Without volunteers our organizations would not exist.
Every position in our organization is volunteer, from
the concession stand to race directing. It's important
that every member get involved in some function of the
club in order for everyone to have a chance to enjoy
time with their children at the track. If you are not
sure where to get involved click on a sign-up link below
and we'll help train and introduce you to the people in
charge of that area. If you don't see any points of
interest or feel you have something to offer not listed
below click here to contact us and we'll help you get
involved. It's just not fair to let a few people do
everything, leaving those few stuck in the sun,
concession stand or tower scoring all day. If you have
not done any of these jobs before, go and just observe for
the first race or two. Then, talk to the person in
charge of that area and decide where you would be the
most comfortable and willing to help.
Concession Stand
This is a very important position; it helps support the
club financially. Without help here, we may have to
raise our entry fees or membership fees. Please help
whenever possible, this is a position in which almost
anyone can participate. If you are willing to help,

Judges
In this position we need experienced and novices alike.
We will help train you. Judging insures fair competition

Flagging
In this position we need experienced and novices alike
with good hand-eye coordination and fast thinking
minds. If you think you have these skills we need you.

Fueling
Our club insures fairness by using what's referred to as
a pump-a-round method. Everyone brings their cars to the
pump full and are then emptied into our common fuel
tank, tanks are then filled with the common fuel and
sealed. This a procedure that almost anyone can do.

Scales
All you need to do here is check each car as they come
across scale and make sure there weight is in compliance
with QMA guidelines.

Race Director
This is a very important position. A race director
should have experience, as well as a good understanding
of the rules and regulations. This person is responsible
for keeping our races going smoothly and enforcing rules
when necessary.

Pit Steward
This position requires that you make sure our kids are
safe and ready to go on the track. A check of each
driver’s safety equipment and car is done just prior to
entering the track. A lot of moms like this position and
do their best to make sure our kids are safe.

Sign Ins
This position in which you help get everyone signed in
and registered for the day. This position allows you to
work early in the morning (before racing starts). This
position may in tell helping prepare line up sheets.
